Waterproof underwater speaker for pool

The AQUA MUSIQUE phenomenon is very simple to understand: you immerse an underwater speaker in the swimming pool. In doing so, the water in the pool vibrates. Since our body is made up of approximately 80% liquids, the music wave enters your body to the brain via these transmitters. This capacity for bodily listening, which we called “amniotympanic listening,” did not disappear with our birth. It had naturally remained in abeyance, in the absence of our invention. Thanks to this underwater speaker, we can reactivate this listening which, in fact, is twofold. The conjunction of these two listenings, through the ear in the water which remains active, and the “amnio-tympanic” listening, through the body, generates the musical massage. Technically speaking, we dare to say that the loudspeaker membrane replaces the eardrum and directly transmits in the form of vibrations, the sound wave to the fluid of the inner ear, while amplifying traditional listening by bone resonance.

This new listening will prove to be the best anti-stress technique in the world, because it responds to a pressing need with simple, healthy and abundant means: water and music. When we think of the considerable amount of music that exists in the world, we understand that this musical creation has meaning. Aqua Musique only recovers this common sense and by importing it into the human body, via the technique of musical massage gives all its power to this incessant musical creation. In reality, I prefer to talk about a solution, rather than a creation, because I think that music is simply a “technical solution” to reduce tensions.

Listening to music underwater is not conventional listening since you will combine swimming and listening to music. You will forget the sensation of water to surprise yourself bathing in music! Simply in 2 ways: on the water and underwater. 1/ Concerning the first option, we have developed a flotation system, which we called “the AQUA MUSIQUE Mat”, which allows you to float very comfortably. The body can relax very quickly and you do not have to “overcome” the water element. The music will be able to penetrate you very easily, slowly, and encourage listening that we describe as “extraordinary”. 2/ The second option: underwater! For lovers of rather dynamic musical sensations, this is the mask-tuba technique. Why a snorkel mask? Quite simply because when you immerse your body and mind in water, you feel some discomfort in your eyes and nose, or irritation. You also have to come up to breathe if you are in apnea and you therefore lose contact with the musical piece. The tuba will allow you to be in contact with the music all the time and to move to the back, in the middle, to the right, to the left, to dance, to play with the musical wave. Personally, I prefer this solution, knowing that using the Mat is more peaceful and more relaxing. We think it will suit more people than the freediving version. The advantage of the masquetuba technique is that you can move with the music. When I say move, I don’t say swim, I say dance; but it is a gesture that varies depending on your mood and the music you listen to. Aquatic, even underwater, behavior will be modified. In summary, the snorkel mask is freedom, you can do what you want, the mat is comfort.

We advise, and this is the only advice we will allow ourselves to give to readers, to choose music that invites relaxation, since water is already an invitation to well-being. Music will add to this effect. It is therefore not appropriate to use music that will counteract the relaxing effect of immersing the body in a swimming pool.

An AQUA MUSIQUE set is made up of 2 speakers and a 2 x 60 watt power amplifier, at 8 ohms and a 4 x 60 watt amplifier at 8 ohms in the case where there are 4 speakers in your swimming pool. You connect this set to a music source of your choice: CD player, MP3 player, iPod, but you will prefer an uncompressed recording format. Installing our underwater speakers, “Shell” version presents no difficulty. All you have to do is immerse them in two distant points of your pool and see for yourself which of these two places, which of these two heights, will best suit the acoustic performance of these speakers.

It’s very simple, choose music that matches the mood. If we want to relax, we will choose music that will invite relaxation. The length of a session will vary, not based on taste or mood, but based on water temperature. Hence the importance of prioritizing the temperature of the water over the size of the pool.
